Help Needed Choosing Gift

Bit of a random question I know, but I'm hoping the girls of TOC can advise!!

I'll keep it brief. Basically my girlfriend is off on holiday with her mates for a week in the sun (booked before we met). I want to get her a present - something to take with her but have no idea what. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something to show I care (yeah I know I'm too soft).

My mates have suggested an assorted pack of prophylactics, which isn't exactly helpful!

Any ideas welcome...

Useful - Beach bag, beach towel, sarong....

Or alternatively a nice bunch of flowers delivered upon her return ;)

Clothes are into the unknown for most guys,as we change our minds alot

& you would get yourself in trouble if you guessed her size wrong so i wouldnt go there!

If she is staying in a hotel, get them to deliver a bouquet of flowers to the room ready for when she arrives with a message from you. She'll love that, I reckon.

aaaaawww thats so sweet, I would go with the necklace idea so its with her all the time and she will be thinking of you :P

Cheers guys. Some good ideas there. Can't believe how romantic you are - flowers on arrival at her hotel is going too far for me!! Personal fave is cabcurtains plastic gun but I don't think that would go down too well.

Kimi - you're right most blokes are hopeless at clothes shopping, both for themselves and the missus!

SJ - too right, I wouldn't want any unwanted presents bringing back!

Dunno about that, Em. Maybe (probably ) it is just me, but I can never tell it apart from Silver. If I'm buying Gold , I like it to look Gold. I certainly can tell the difference between it & silver when I get hit @ the Till

Thanks to all for the advice (especially Demonic Angel ) I went for a white gold pendant necklace and it was very well received. Will be posting back here again come Christmas time!!!
