2 Din On '03 Avensis?

Hi,

I've been toying with the idea of fitting a new NAV/Audio system to the Avensis (its an '03 - as in when the model changed to the new shape).

This has been on my mind since seeing the TNS 700 system installed in the new Avensis TR - however upon doing some research it seems that for less money (they cost £1500 from the parts dept!) i can get a Kenwood 2DIN system which has about a thousand more features.

My question is; does anyone know or can confirm that 2DIN ("double din") mounts are in the '03/'04 avensis. If so im just going to take the dash out and fit it myself! A decent Kenwood touch screen GPS Nav / audio system costs about £500 versus the TNS ! .... no contest!

I've had a look at a parts diagram with the dealer today, and it looks like the DIN mount is only a single one; not 2 DIN - can anyone help me on this please?
