I thought I would share my recent experience with you.

My radio went from crystal clear reception on FM,to not being able to receive a thing.Checked here on the forum and lots of posts, but no real solution.

Thinking back to what I had changed since the problem started, all I had done was fit the kids DVD player in the back. Went out to the car, put the radio on and still poor reception - then removed the 12v power to the DVD from the socket in the back and hey presto perfect radio again.

If you are struggling with reception it may be worthwhile removing all your gadgets/chargers etc from the car electrics to see if the problem is the same.
