Hello everyone,

My name is Adam and I am in my third year of university and currently working on my dissertation. As Toyota owners I was hoping you could help me out with my poll so i can determine how successful Toyota has been for you.

I also have a questionnaire, if anyone would be willing to help that would be great. If you could let me know.

Thanks in advance

It might seem odd coming from a current VW owner but I definately would buy another Toyota. When I was looking to replace my Yaris I felt the Golf was the best option but when it's time to change I'll look at Toyotas again & feel certain that 1 day I'll own another, be it in the next few years or the long term future.

Good luck with the dissertation, hope you get the kind of results you're looking for. Feel free to send me the questionnaire & if I get a free minute I'll fill it in for you

it would depend on the deal for me.

There are a lot of good, desirable motors out there from many manufacturers - it would just boil down to economics for me

I'd defo have to say yes. Can't fault the reliability and driving pleasure. Faaaaaaaaaar better than my Pug 206!

For me it would be a financial deal.... if Toyota don't offer me what I am looking for them I'll play them off against another dealer which, probably, would be Nissan again :)

Hayward, if you want to send your questionaire I'll fill it when I get some spare time and return it to you. Give me your e-mail address and I'll post it there

I'd want to buy something reletively new as my next car. Despite my love for late 80s/early 90s coupes there would be too many problems with cars of that age and i'd only buy one if I had the money to have it as a project car. Therefore, seeing as i'm not so keen on any of the new toyotas, i'd probably not buy another one.

what exactly are you doing at uni?

The course is business with marketing, and my dissertation is on operations management and as Toyota created lean thinking i chose them as the company.

Can anyone else help me out with the questionnaire? Also keep the poll voting going. Need 50 votes at least.

Thanks everyone

No... but not never again...

When car hunting recently to replace the Yaris, my first port of call was Toyota of course, but sadly after looking at the Yaris SR and Auris SR180, the only emotion i felt was... 'Bored to Death'

Im sure some will argue Toyota are after the economy and blah blah blah.......... snore.... end of the market, but a 'luke warm supermini' and a blobby hatch with a half ubikd diseasal in it drove me straight back where i came from.

Unless Toyota start making interesting and quick cars again, i doubt ill return.

It doesnt have to be a new car!

you can send one to me if you like

PS - your questionnaire could have had an option of "did you...." as well as "would you ...." - plenty of folks here are serial Toyota nuts

Most definitely.

We have three Toyotas, well technically my truck is half Toyota and half Lexus, but all Toyota. If we could just sell the Celica or even the Celica and Corolla, then we'll be getting another Surf/4Runner.

I would absolutely buy another Toyota....

But not one that was built in the last 5-10 years, which is why when I wanted a new car and wanted something newer I had to leave the Toyota brand. - They just don't make interesting cars anymore :(
