Hi all,

just changed tha spark plugs of my car.

Interested do you reset the car computer after chaning the plugs, supposedly to let it readjust itself and get you a better fuel consumption (mpg)?

Do I need to do this. If yes how do I reset it?

Thanks.

I'f you would feel hapier having disconencted the batter by all means do it.

I personally can't see any point. A dealership wouldn't do it at a service!

Agreed, the ECU has no 'direct' control over what the spark plugs are doing, just tells the coil packs when to fire them.
