Hi There

Have just changed the headlight bulb on the nearside of my avensis-upon turning the lights on at night i noticed that the nearside light has dipped and the offside headlight is in the normal position.

Upon moving the headlight dipping switch the offside moves freely up & down and the nearside is fixed in the down position.

Can it be a case the the motor has packed up & is it an easy fix as i have now idea how these work.

Thanks for anyones help

Cheers

Ade

Make sure you have put the bulb in the correct way round, lots of people change the headlight bulb and put it in upside down, it still works but you end up with one pointing out of line with the other, they'll be a small line on the base of the bulb to show which way it should be in, also make sure you have put the holder back in correctly if its not quite fitting right then the motor won't move it.
