Problems With 3door Windows

I've had problems with both my window regulators on my 3 door car. I feel my car is a bit young to be having these problems.

I'm wondering is it a common problem across all 3 door models of Toyota.

Anybody else been down this road and how old was your 3 door car at the time.

(apoligies if this sounds familiar, I posted in the corolla forum too. But I'm wondering now is it a more general problem)

My drivers side is broke but it is an old car, seems they used mickey mouse metal on the regulator bracket and it sheered where it bolts on.

Had my trusty block of wood holding the window up for 3 years now.

Had no problems whatso ever on any of my toyotas... 11 of my old toyotas were coupes (Not strictly three door) and I have never had a problem!

Our current Yaris is a 3 door - never had any probs, nor did the 3 door Yaris T-Sport that we used to have. The MR2's are fine too, altho on mine the passenger window isnt as fast as the driverside but it is 21 years old after all.
