Hello Toyota experts, new member here.

I've taken a bit of a gamble and bought a Gen7 Celica sight unseen. My mate's dad runs a garage and he is currently rebuilding the car after an accident which wrote it off. I trust him not to take me for a ride and it will, hopefully, turn out to be a cheap way of buying a nice car as I don't have a lot to spend.

I have seen some photos, that's all. If I have managed to attach them successfully, can anyone tell me anything about this car by looking at the pictures?

I was told it is a T-Sport, first registered in December 2001, but it doesn't have the T-Sport Badge on the back. Any info gratefully received.

It's a 190 not a T Sport. It also has the Sport and Dynamic Pack with after market Wheels. First thing to replace on the car will be the Lift Bolts which are prone to wearing and eventually shearing off. The colour should be Storm Blue metallic which is almost Black :)

Thanks very much for that. At least I can get an insurance quote for the right model now.

Lift bolts are the things on the hatchback, right? I've heard about them. My mum's Corolla had a similar problem.

If they are aftermarket wheels they will at least not suffer from the Toyota alloy corrosion problem.

Any other information, however minor, is appreciated.
