Paint Touch Up Recomendations In/near Reading

I need to get the better halfs Yaris paint work touched up.

Im assuming a couple of the local kids have riding their bikes have hit the car and put a few scratchs in it. I say assume as ive not seen them do it but have senn them riding along the street with all the control of a drunk hippo.

As the scratchs are quite large and down to the primer on two pannels, I dont fancy trying to T cut them out or getting paint touch up pens to do it myself.

So can anyone recommend anyone in the Reading area to take it to ??

Dont fancy taking it to Mr T as I was there today for a T drive of an Auris and the sales fella while appraising her car for a part ex said it would take £850-1K worth of paint work to get it sorted Which sounded very steep for me.

I know where I would take in liverpool where I live and i know things get cheaper up north but id be expecting changing from £350-400 for a pucker job.

Any way gents cheers in advance for the help.

Obviously the sales man just saw the scratches as a perfect excuse to offer you less for the part ex. Either that or your car is sprayed in gold. You should have laughed in his stupid smug face for saying it was a grands worth of paint. And laughed at him for being out of a job soon.

No idea about bodyshops in Reading but if it's only down to the primer, and they're not dented, just scratched, then why not get an assessment/quote from a mobile repair service like Chips Away or similar. Will be a fraction of the cost of a respray.

I think you must go for an online help Car TouchUP . I have also experienced the same problem and then one of my friends suggested me this website. It really helped me to a great extend in getting my car back in shape n even better than original as it has a variety of shades available for all kinds of cars. I am sure even u would love the shades here.
