Intermitant Rear Wiper

Hello Everyone,

Can someone help me please.

My "Y" reg Avensis has a rear wiper parking problem.

Problem starts with the rear wiper sweeping on it's own. It only stops with the ignition switch.

Currently running with the rear wiper arm off until it decides to park up. This is continual sweeping of the wiper and the switch position does notalter the sweep.

Can experience no problems for several months until it starts all over again.

The problem does appear to be weather related - seems to start mis performing in the rain !!

Is there anything obvious to check before I strip the motor down ?

Hello

I think the problem is with this wiper control relay.

Wait for another posts on here.
