Hi guys , my Yaris is now out of warranty and intend to service it myself.

Nothing wrong with the dealers I've found my local one to be excellent.

I cant seem to find much info on the diesel the Haynes does not cover the Yaris diesel

I've never had a Diesel before is there anything different from a petrol engine that I need to look at (apart from the spark plugs ;) )

I've always managed most jobs on cars I've had with Haynes manuals but they dont do one for the diesel is there a service book avaliable for the D4D ?

I have a Haynes manual which covers petrol only but the only difference is the engine.

The Toyota manual covers DIY servcing well.

Oil and oil filter changes are easy (done them myself) and the only other difference is the fuel filter - covered in the Owner's Manual.

Also look at:http://techdoc.toyota-europe.com/MaintenanceSchedules/echo/Final.pdf
