hey everyone!

just wanted to introduce myself!

just bought myself an 02 Yaris T Sport which is my first Toyota, and incidentally, only my 2nd car lol

im 19 and have had an 01 Clio since i passed my test - it will be a pretty major step up in terms of driving pleasure i think... lol

i pick the car up tomorrow (hopefully bank clears payment!) and so i will post pics if/when i get it home :DD

the yaris i bought has been really well looked after by i think only 2 owners, the most recent one (who i bought from) took me for a spin today - did 125mph down a hill lol - i was speechless... had to have it!!

but anyway he has put in a really good Apexi induction kit and a stainless steel exhaust, also he has lowered it a further 20mm (now 40mm)

how do you guys feel about modifications like these? any experience of them? pros/cons?

personally if the car had been totally standard i would MAYBE have preferred it, but he has done a really good job so i dont think it will do any harm, and he serviced the car every 10k miles!

talk to yas again soon! :D

Hello and welcome to TOC

The only problem with buying an already modified Yaris is that the modifications must be declared to your insurance and may just increase your premium just a little.

Good luck with your new car...................Save the high speeds for the track days ;)
