Adjust Speedo?

Hi,

I was thinking about getting alloys for my yaris, bigger ones aswel mine are only 14" atm and was wondering if anyone could tell me if i would need the speedo adjusted and how or where to get it done. I have a 53 1.0 T3 if this helps the wheels would be aprox. 195/50x15 6.5 et35.

You shouldn't touch the speedo, the easiest thing to do is to get a TomTom or RoadAngel or similiar that has GPS and see what the speed reads compared to the speed on car. The factory difference will be about 10% higher on the speedo than the Sat Nav which is normal, then do the same after you have changed your wheels and just note the change if any in your head.

If you change from 14 to 15's the difference wont be very much if you are lowering the tyre profile at the same time. :thumbsup:
