Rear Hub And Bearings Question

I replaced my right rear hub with a scrapyard one. The old one was making a droning noise and dragging a bit. But the replacement one is making a little noise too. It's running free though so it wasn't a complete waste of time. I priced a new one and was shocked at the cost. I know they rarely fail but the replacement hub i got is on its way out. Have many of you guys had a rear wheel bearing fail? How much did you pay for a new one?

My yaris is a 1.4 D4D with 95k on it.

Anyone? I guess it's a very rare thing to fail on a yaris then!
