hi---iv,e a 1999 avasis 2 litre auto, with only one key- Ive invested in a cloned key £35--in case i loose that one .only drawback it doesn't turn off the alarm-but it drives.

fair enough ! as i can get it to a auto electrician to disconnected the alarm.but are there any other alternatives.

... SNIP ...but are there any other alternatives.

...

errr... at the risk of stating the obvious, take it to Mr T and see what he quotes for a properly cloned key that talks to the alarm as well...

Cheers!

If 'Coopz' has not previously read the term he/she would not know what it means.... as you can see two of us did not mind helping out

this is what i feared- this is the wife's motor ,i drive a Merc and would rather have my teeth out than pay overblown MR T prices. or ,even worse mr merc. rip off prices (£240 +vat ) for a key that may never be needed. i only got a cloned key to retain the immobilizer info.i would get it home and do it myself,
