Avensis Voice Activated Sat-nav And Radio

i have just brought an avensis T4 53reg

it looks like it has the gear to activate the above by voice

i cant make it work

does it have it, or is it on a higher spec model?

Hi,

I had a T4 2003 model once. Voice controls did not work on that model, think its for the T-spirit or as an added extra. I am sure someone else will clarify this if I am wrong.

It works if you have the colour sat nav. I have the turn by turn which works good enough for me but i still use the tomtom. If you have the colour one you get the microphone fitted on the above controls where the lights are and the alarm sensors. Then you can use the button on the right of the steering wheel to activate the voice command.
