Tappet Settings

Hello to everyone, I am new to this site and am seeking help on behalf of my daughter. As my log in name suggests, I am Maries dad, and she is the very proud owner of a Starlet 1.3CD that has only 29K on the clock. Its in verg good nick, but needs the tappets setting. As is usual, us dads have to be there for our offsprings, so can anybody out these help with the settings for this model, and could they also confirm that number 1 is inlet?
