Hi

I recently bought a silver 2004 Celica and I have just noticed that the side skirts on the car are not painted, they are grey plastic. So I was wondering; should they be painted and if so anyone has got experience of cost to do this?

Also how do you remove the side skirts?

If you are going to the trouble of removing and painting Skirts, I'd recommend you source a pair of Toyota Dynamic Skirts, these have a long ridge running most of the length. IIRC, the Skirts are attached by one Bolt and numerous Clips each side. You could pay around £150 at a body shop, or much cheaper if you spray them yourself.
