Unless there is a Toyota/Lexus unit that plugs straight in, there is possibly two other ways:

Method 1. You use the reversing camera input, feed composite video into it and modify the reverse signal input to be active with a switch. You will still get the "check surrounding for safety" message on the screen:

For the audio side, you will need an audio aux adapter that pretends to be something like a CD changer.

This method was discussed in this thread:

Method 2. This method is only speculation. It is on going investigation (slow, I'm afraid due to other commitments):

The blue connector is a serial digital video input called GVIF.

The hardware is present in the unit. Recent Prius models use the same method to get navi display info to the in-dash display:

The software for the head unit has references to "DVD changer". This is again speculation, but I expect the blue input is enabled via the avclan. To do this I will need some hardware, which I am working on from time to time. However, even if this works, the video hardware chips are not easy to come by.

There are GVIF interface boxes out there, that may work, but at that price, I'm not willing to try it:

I believe some Lexus models have DVD changers. I know very little about them, but I do wonder whether they would be compatible and have that GVIF interface.

Apologies if this is too technical, but you did ask!!!

There's a clever guy that has made a video input interface to work with the IE-Bus in his Honda Acura. I bet that the toyota video input is something similar to what this guy has made.

Anyway, you should check it out. It's pretty cool, since he uses the x-y coordinates from the touch screen to control his computer.
