New Battery Electrical Problem

Hi everybody.

My old Battery was dying, so I changed it with a new one.

However, once I installed it, I noticed straight away something was wrong. When I opened the door it made the beeping sound like it does when you leave your lights on. Once inside I noticed all of the electrics were out (clock, radio, electric windows/mirrors, fans, indicators etc). However the only thing that worked were the headlights. The car turns over and starts, but I have no electrics. :(

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi mate. I'd say first place to check would be where you've moved stuff.

IE you should always check the most recent thing to be changed. So I'd have a nose at the multi connection on the Battery. There are a couple of feeds that come from the Battery, so make sure they're all connected sound and that the cables haven't suffered any damage.

Then next step would be to have a nose at the fuses, like the dome fuse.
