Abs Fault

HI, i have a intermittent ABS fault, the light comes on with ignition and goes off as i should,, the problem is the light comes on only above 60MPH and always after about half a mile, there is a constant point on my route to work where the light comes on every time with the speed and distance measured.

There is no difference to braking and if i turn the igniton on and off the light goes off again as it should until the required speed and distance come into play again.

I have cleaned all sensors and checked the ABS rings, everything appears OK, if i drive aroung town the light never comes on.

Anyone got any ideas, had the same experience, any info appreciated, The car is a 98 2.0 CDX.

Thanks, Darren.

so the abs light only goes on above 60mph.

have you had a windscreen replaced ?

checked the relays for dry solder joints ?

Thanks for your replies, i have found the fault !! its in the tyres, i had 65`s on the rear and 60`s on the front both are 15`s, i replaced the fronts with 65`s and the faults gone, i asked on google and it appears you can`t run different profiles on different axles no matter how slight. It appears that at 60 MPH the difference is enough to alert the ABS, in this case.
