friend of my dad had an ex taxi that had done 423k petrol 1.8 gs and it was still going strong.

thinking of bidding.

Hi mate, pretty well bullet proof like the old carina-e, my brother in Ireland knows of one with 520k and another with 650k on the clock ..... original engine an gearbox in both so at that mileage no probs if the oil has been changed on a regular basis. We both have had them in the past and never any worries and they still are a Taxi drivers car in these parts. I see it has 12months MOT so that's a great start, i think it looks OK but don't go too high with your bid ...maybe £550.00 tops ??

Good luck ..... Pete.

It'll be fine, it's pre-vvti so it'll run forever.
