I agree. Several people have said how nice my Cayman Blue looks.:thumbsup:

I just need some matching seat covers now - blue suede maybe.

Good luck, ive yet to see any that fit the stylings of the front headrests.

Well, I am thinking about measuring and drawing the seats so I can get a

local seamstress to knock up a couple of loose fitting covers - a bit like

pillow cases that will slip over the seats when the need arises.

I must remember to remove any rainwater from the boot door before opening it,

otherwise the water drains straight inside the boot.

Apart from that, she's watertight.

They won't be for looks! - just practical for when I'm in my working gear.

Just a quick word of warning.

If you have the side airbags, make sure there is a loose seam (Vecro tabs perhaps)

where the seat airbags deploy.

I'm not sure how effective side airbags are, but if they're obstructed,

there may be some kind of problem.

Mr. Insurance will use any excuse.

Ian.

Thanks for that Ian.

It never crossed my mind - I will certainly look into it.

Two weeks down the line and Blue has had her first wash.

I've used the cheapest stuff around - a 1 litre bottle of Auto Quest Wash

& Wax High Shine Shampoo from Poundland - and she looks immaculate.

Yes - all for just a quid at Poundland!

I've got no real complaints about the Aygo - apart from the very small boot.

But I didn't pay for an estate car and I'm able to travel around with the back

seats down. Pity the back seats don't fold flat and the lip of the boot isn't lower.

The air conditioning / de-mister is fantastically powerful, the bluetooth is special

and the metallic finish is perfect.

Going back to the wash, I'll have to revisit Poundland for a couple of soft dishwashing

brushes. One for the grills and badges and one for the wheels. I've already knackered

one sponge on the wheels by mopping up brake pad dust.

It's very annoying when the wash and dry is over - then water trickles out of all

the nooks and crannies! I'll just have to live with it.

My Blue bluetooth really is special...

This morning she reminded me that I had just driven off

without my mobile phone.

How the hell did she know that ??? :o

Big brother is watching you.....although I never got the blue partly because I wasn't tempted by the colour, I am thinking about getting the bluetooth kit retro fitted.

Cause she couldnt find your blue tooth signal to connect to, thus its either off or you didnt bring you phone.

I've had this happen with my Sony Ericsson carkit too:

Start the car, bluetooth connects, I drive off and at the end of the

street it plays a sound, letting me know I've gone out of range...

I go back and find my phone on the ground next to where

I'd parked; turns out the latch on my holster had failed...

Hope this doesn't happen when I get my new iPhone...

According to Toyota,

''Vehicles under the UK Scrappage Scheme must be ordered

through a participating Toyota Centre by today.'' (30th June 2009)

It will be interesting to see what their next move will be.

Scheme is definately still running although it is looking as if the money will be running out much sooner than expected. The problem dealers will have is if they can not fulfil the order by the time it runs uot by the look of things...

i wonder if the money is running or maybe they cant forfill any more orders!

There is Government money for 300,000 scrappage deals.

70,000 deals had been done by mid June.

The Toyota deadline was set independently from the Government deadline.
