Hi again guys,

Apologies for reviving an oldish topic but ive just got round to having a mess with this. I have adjusted the throttle cable (not by much  ) but just wanted to make sure i was doing it right.

Using 2 spanners (1 to lock both the bottom and top nuts of the throttle cable)i Have loosed the bottom one a small amount and then tightened the top one further to lock them back up.

I bet your gonna tell me im going the wrong way with the bolts aren't ya?

Cant really feel muxch difference although ive prob only moved the position a couple of mm.

cheers.

i showed it to my dad and thats what he said, just untighten the bottom nut and then tighten the top nut down and the whole thing should move down at the same time..

i might give it a go this avo if i can find the right spanner!

edit i couldnt move the bottom nut after like 45 mins of aggro ive given up:/ even with the 3 spanner routine!;/

Just gave this a go.

What a difference

Had the mentioned problem with the bottom nut aswell, plenty of WD and some patience turning back and forwards and all good.

Found it easier to remove the whole thing and work the nuts when out.
