help! stuck in park!

my 1995 corolla is stuck in park, even if i floor the brake. the shifter button will not go in, the the lever won't move. also, the brake lights are not coming on? any ideas?

is there a byoass for the interlock system?

perhaps the switch on the brake pedal is gone.

You should have an override button next to the shifter.. little red one... but remember to still put your foot on the brake when overiding.
