Prob With Electric Window

Anybody else have a problem with driver's side window not winding down? it only happens intermittently but usually when its most needed like at a car park with one of those auto-ticket barriers!!! usually corrects itself when i slam the door!!! :huh:

take the door card off and check the plug is stuck into the socket properly

i had a similar problem when i didnt clcik it back in properly after fitting the new Speakers

cheers jaxx, will have a look but a bit hesitant since toyota squirted a load of this rubber stuff to stop some rattle!!!

peel the black sticky crap off the door body...rather than trying to part the door card from the black crappy stuff...first it will damage the door card..second it won't seal properly afterwards.

If yours is a 3dr Yaris, it could be the door checkstrap that is bent towards the window runner and restricting the movement for the regulator/ window drop glass. Remove the door panel and check the runner. If its interfering, you'll see scratch marks where the checkstrap is coming into contact with it.
