53 Avensis Blade Cut.

Hi

I have just bought a 53 Avensis and have managed to buy a spare key from eBay.

However I have asked 5 different key locksmiths including timpsons and they couldnt cut a new blade too.

Can anyone provide me with ways to get a new blade cut and also the programming method.

I would like also contacts of any local locksmith that can help in replacing and cutting the blade for me.

Some of the non genuine keys are a pain, they should be able to cut it, cutting is the least of the problems. Not very many people can programme them in, it can be a little complicated, call your dealer and see if they will give you a price for programming it in. We no longer cut/programme non genuine keys because of the problems they cause
