I have noticed while looking for some t-sport alloys that many are corroded and was just wondering how easy it is to use a repair kit to refurb them

Thanks guys

Suppose it's just like any alloy wheel that's corroded.

Your best just taking them to a wheel repair centre where they will bead blast them and powder coat them in whatever colour you want.

Or you could have them as original, or polished up.

Prices are usually around the £30-£50 per wheel though.

A cheaper way is to rub them down yourself with different grades of wet&dry paper and then spray them.

Autoglym silver wheel paint is excellent for this, i did the wheels on the wife's old micra once (when she had the micra) and the finish was still good after 18mths of everyday driving. Not bad for £5 a can. ;)
