Avensis Warning Light (?)

Hi all (this is my first post)

I recently bought an avensis 2007 executive and noticed a light in the instrument panel that looked like a speedometer with a light bulb in the upper right "corner". It is located just below the teperature gauge. I could not find anything about it in the manual. Does anybody know what this light is trying to tell me? See attached foto:

I dont own an avensis, but from a previous post on the forum.

That light indicates that the button next to is it the knob to ajust the dash light display, so dont worry its not a warning light, just come on when you turn on the headlights.

this is the same light that has appeared on my dash and it definitely was not there when i first purchased the car.
