Hi,

I have just purchased a toyota yaris 2000 model and fitted an aftermarket radio/cd into it using the iso lead and a small dash replacement. When i switch the ignition off i get a beeping noise, 2 notes different twice then repeated

I assume its something to do with security as the original radio is now disconnected, it doesnt affect use of the car but was wondering if it can be turned off B), its a bit annoying :D

Thanks

Ide say, find the problem, fix it, then you will find that the beeping will stop.

if its a sony head unit then its a warning that the front panel is still connected. try removing that and all will be quiet. you should be able to turn off the feature
