Bugs, Bugs, Bugs!

It's that time of year again. :)

The front of my shiny new IQ is a bugs graveyard! :(

What's the best stuff to get 'em off? Does Autoglym tar remover do the job?

Any advice appreciated, by me and my IQ.

I use the normal bucket of wash and wax and have an old non abrasive sponge (the type you do the washing up with), it requires a little bit of pressure and bugs come off. This is on the plastic bumpers only, for the bonnet i use a normal sponge and whats left i get off when polishing the bonnet. :)

I agree but can I suggest you get the splattered bugs totally wet and soft with warm water before trying to clean them off.... if you get stubborn bugs then place a wet cloth over them to really give them a soaking.... they will wash off fairly easily if you get the bugs fully wet.... good luck

This is after washing the area with the big sponge ;) the little one is used to get residual bits off.

get some of THIS from cleanyourcar.com. works a treat. spray on leave for a few mins then jet wash off. takes nearly all of them off. bottle lasts for a while too.
