Try to polish it out with normal polish if its not gone to base coat, darker the colour i found harder to get rid off.

You could try this:

http://www.turtlewax.com/main.taf?p=2,1,4,5

Available in many colours, including Black  I used it on my previous Carlo Blue Yaris.

Wear gloves when using it coz if it gets on your hands it takes ages to clean off

In the autoexpress tests for scratch remover, "Autoglym Paint Renovator" came out well. I've just got some and had some good results....

I have had success with a waxy type of polishes on red/silver/gold and white vehicles making sure the cloth never dries out, and when happy the scratch has gone then polish off to a shine, they say a felt pen can assist if the colours are close but never tried it myself.

T-cut can be a little fierce, its ok to take sun burst off red shades, try to polish out the scratch first before useing any colour touch ups, what tends to happen as you polish the scratch out it fills the scratch in as you polish, work slowly with the polish and in a bigger area than the scratched area so not to leave a noticable newly polished site area then polish the whole panel to finish the job off which will seal in the colour back into the original scratch. Black is not the best of colours to work with good luck.

If you're after general product advise - try autoexpress.co.uk

Its a magazine web site and they publish the results of all their comparison tests from their car mag.

You can't go wrong buying from their recommendations....

I use Comma interior cleaner that cleans the plastic and leaves it with no residue (and its antibacterial which can't be a bad thing with kids in the car) - but because its just a cleaner, it doesn't cover up any scuffs.

What I have found is that if I use some of the "black trim polish" very sparingly on a cloth to rub over the scratches in the plastic trim, that's a very good way of covering minor scuffs. (actually, I just use the dirty black polishing cloth after I've polished the black trim. I don't put any extra black polish onto the cloth, just use what's already been impregnated into it from doing the blacck trim before...)
