Aygo is already one of the safest cars in its class, but owners can now invest in even greater protection with a new upgrade option pack. For the entry-level Aygo, side and curtain airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control (TRC) and rear head rests are available at a cost to customers of £960 (including VAT).

For Aygo+ and Aygo Black models with side airbags already fitted as standard equipment, the option pack includes curtain airbags and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control (TRC). And to help keep things cool when behind the wheel, air conditioning is also included in the pack’s £1,180 price tag (including VAT).

Aygo is already well-equipped in terms of active and passive safety systems, with ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, driver and front passenger airbags, driver’s seatbelt reminder system, childproof rear door locks and front belts with pretensioners fitted as standard to all versions. Aygo+ and Aygo Black further benefit from Isofix rear child seat mounts.
