When you think about the perfect partnership, maybe you think of Bonnie and Clyde or maybe Laurel and Hardy…. But the perfect partnership is in fact our very own Asha and KITT!
It all started back in December 2003, Asha found her perfect partner in the Autotrader and it was pretty much love at first sight. Off she went to Ferrybridge Services to pick KITT up; who at that point was a standard 2.0 16 valve automatic imported Celica GT-R. Asha haggled the price and eventually got KITT for the bargain price of £1,650.

Everything was going fabulously with her new car until, disaster struck in September 2004. At a TOC Photo Meet, KITT blew up! She needed a new engine and was off the road for the best part of two months. Asha was distraught that her poor car was in such a bad way, but with the support of Rich, KITT pulled through and Asha got to work on the rest of the modifications she wanted.
KITT was originally black with a gold fleck, but Asha decided on a complete black respray. All in all KITT has 22 modifications from standard and Asha has spent over £3,000. Add to that new clear indicators and front bumper lights and brand spanking new wheels and a funky respray – KITT looks fabulous! You would never guess she is 14 years old! Asha admits that KITT is her pride and joy. Well, with a car looking so good, I bet its hard not to think like that!

The piece de resistance though, must be the excellent LED lights which were fitted just before Track Attack! Ashas KITT truly puts Michael Knights KITT to shame! Why get a Pontiac Firebird when you can have a Toyota Celica!
