Not sure about your comment in the first paragraph is wise, but I do get why you do it. In that instance, I just go slower and stay in my side of the road 😄😄

Although indicating each time i intentionally cross the line while straightening a winding country road is OTT. I can get a tune going with lane crossing and speed excursions - just blank them out. I wrote to a big local store complaining about missing speed signage on exit. Have also written to our council. Next will be a follow up letter to my MP. Give him something to do instead of browsing SitVac notices.

Hello! In that case, can I use the Gt4 calipers on a Celica St200? I'm thinking about changing the stock calipers for better ones. Thank You!

I more or less agree with you, Bob. Although I was brought up in the Christian Faith, I follow Christian principles but am an agnostic. Whilst I cannot myself claim to have experienced any significant “happenings”, members of my family have told of things which cannot be rationally explained. I don’t blaspheme or mock any of the religious faiths, but I do get uncomfortable if a pious person pushes their faith at me in a forceful manner that indicates I am expected to accept and believe everything they say. I have found that denying their faith only results in further dialogue of just how wrong I am, so I quietly let them ramble on until they run out of steam.

Accessing 'My Toyota' services on two different phones.
Corolly Poly posted a topic in Toyota MyT / Toyota apps
I have a problem in that the mileage entry field in the My Toyota app to confirm connection to confirm connection to the vehicle will not accept numbers on my Samsung S23 Ultra. I have another phone where I can enter the mileage into the data field. If I use my spare phone to set up a connection and services will they be available on the S23 when I log on to the app or will I still need to connect the S23 by entering the mileage? I can't test at the moment as I had 3 attempts before I realised there was a problem with the S23 and am now locked out. I am waiting for the attempts to be reset but this has already taken 2 weeks!!! Thanks - Today

Good point to highlight in regards to using the indicator. I ALWAYS indicate, so I never really have this issue when crossing a line 👍

When we ordered the Yaris in Sept 2023 it was £100. Other brands and dealers were vastly different. Shop around.

Siri is time sensitive , so if you pause too long it thinks you have completed instructions. that sometimes causes Siri to “cut off” mid way through telling it the text message. -

Download and check the online Navigation / Multimedia System Manual. I'm pretty sure that you will find a "System reset" function that will "Reset all of the system’s data and restore the settings to the factory defaults." Alternatively, you may be able to delete a user profile - again check the manual. -
Yes the following also. The height was checked.

I'm talking about driving outside the city, where there are no lights. It simply doesn't lighten enough for me, if I drive a little below 40 km/h. Bad roads, winding roads, steep ascent/descent ... it is much better when I manually switch on high beams. The same annoyance was with Mazda, which otherwise has much better automatic high beams (not just ON/OFF, but it adapts the lights every moment for different parts of the area).

I have Bi-LED lights.

Isobel, quite agree, the car has beeps, burps and bongs for about everything and apart from annoying can also be confusing. In time I think we just tune out. I had one SatNav nagger "slow down, you are exceeding the speed limit". Worked, bit the brain can still switch off Bitching Betty. The worse sound I have is a home, a discrete beep, daylight hours only, repeated every few minutes to tell me my smoke alarm needs a new battery. Only snag is which one. We have 5 alarms and no clue which one.

Thanks for the info, I don't have apple though, I have android only (a Samsung S22+ phone) -
Don, not a thing. If there had been a steady ingress over time, and with the bungs in place, I would have expected a lot more water. The towels and blankets we stow there were all dry. PS One of my E Class (the rusty class) had a bung each side at a low point and each a cross slit to allow water to dribble out. On was a bit blocked to I pressed it with a screw driver and the bung dropped out. Most of the paint dropped out too. There was no metal at all. The other side had a full size spare. When I checked that side had also rusted away. Two new panels were actually easy, and fairly cheap, to replace.

apple car play is wireless in a 2023 model, but you need to connect with a a cable the first time you use it -
Not just oncoming, it also dips if you are following too. While you may set the beam height at the recommended level I found one below worked well for me and reduced the flashing.

I find this on my cross too, I’ve noticed it comes on whilst leaving work, I work in a village just outside the city and as I drive through the auto beam comes on which I find unnecessary as there’s adequate street lighting, it also comes on as I wait at the traffic light further down before joining a main road, the high beam is on and I must be blinding other drivers side on as they pass, my previous ford had this system and it worked much better so it must be a Toyota thing..

What size copper washers do you need for the nut? Thanks

If it is not working as it should, you should take it to a dealer for examination ... Do you have LED or halogen headlights? The LED lights are perfectly bright enough on dip at low speeds (and really aren't upgradeable). Folk have been tempted to upgrade halogen headlights with non-standard bulbs which might cause problems for oncoming drivers.
