2 strokes dont have much of a service, just a plug mainly and strip down the carb and clean/change airfilter, unless you need a piston ring change due to low compression, finnicky things 2 strokes, whats up with it then?wont start?wont run properly?

Hi, as above, there is not a great deal that you can do as far as a Service, as long as its already runnig, only change the plug & wash dry & lightly oil the air filter if its not a throw away type. Be careful not to adjust the mixture screws as they are to govern the speed of the cutting disc to the correct RPM, so if your disc cutter sounds like its running rough and you think it needs a good service it may well be fine, they don't run that cleanly at max throttle. Hpoe this helps, Mike

Just back from driving trains!

Not much to add to the above. I agree with the others they are a fickle instrument. Get it as clean as you can (all the brick dust out) and just follow the advice above.
