Are you buying from a dealership?

If you are, insist a FULL report is available for you to view! I insisted when I recently bought a Freesport for my wife that a B schedule service was carried out along with a FULL detailed report on Brakes tyres, emissions etc.

If you are buying private, ensure a full service history is available + all previous MOT's. Very little goes wrong with them, however, if it does not have solid history ( ie, gaps in servicing, Mot's etc ) leave alone!

I suppose the major items like clutch, steering, gear change, Engine need to be checked thoroughly.

As it's also a 4x4, check for tyre wear, they cost around £80 each to replace.

Hope this helps.
