Hi, i have a corolla g6 that with a 4efe 1.3 engine, ive found a very very cheap 1.6 from a g6r along with a bonnet and strut (lighter bonnet) and want to fit the engine in.

I know the bhp is still small at only 109hp, but i still wanna do it.

Can anybody tell me what id need to do , i order to get this conversion done?

any parts id need to buy etc etc

or isit a straight conversion?

Thanks

well it aint a staight swap as the engine mounts are different, however what would go straight in is the 5efe (1.5 engine) 0f the 4efte (1.3 turbo), if i was you i would nt bother with the 1.6 as there is not much difference but if you wanted a bit more power you could try get a 4efte engine as it will go straight in but the wiring will be a bit different.
