after parking up and on return to car their is some water on the ground under the car not a puddle less the half a foot by half a foot .

any ideas where it is coming from as i said only happens when air con was running.

thanks in advanced gavin.

It's normal, it's only the condensation water that you see on the ground.

Agree with Hati, it is normal. The evaporator inside the car (chiller) gets a coating of ice on it much like the chiller plate in your fridge at home. When the air con switches off, this melts and runs down the drain tubes provided for the purpose.

The air-conditioning also acts as a dehumidifier, this is why it clears windscreens near instantly in the winter, it will be dripping most of the the time it is turned on, it just happens that you notice a pool as there is still moisture in the system to be drained.
