Hi Guys,

For some time now, I've been trying find a decent dvd system to fit in my rav. Ideally I'd like it to be built into the headrests (like on the image below) but my local toyota dealer says this one is a factory fitted and they don't fit these at their garage.

Do you know a place where I could have it done? or shall I rather go for for universal player with a band to go over the headrest ?

Anobody has any experience with these?

Simon

No experience of fitting DVD screens - sorry.

However, the headrests in the photo appear to be quite a bit more upright than those on my RAV. Are they special headrests I wonder? If not, does anyone know if the 4.3 headrests tilt at all? I have tried but they don't seem to budge.

hi simon

welcome to the club

http://www.carismaautomotive.co.uk/enquiry.html

the above is specialist car customising company based in colchester,'carisma automotive',they strip any vehicle and put in what you want,if it will fit, they can put it in.

i believe jamie, the chap who owns it,used to work for rolls royce and is fully trained with upholstory stitching, and / or interior makeovers.

IF you are prepared to travel to colchester......it could be done.

these guys done a lot of vehicle makeovers on 'mtv'..on pimp my ride

some of the makeovers were a bit extreme.... ,but your headreast screens should be easy for them

hope it helps..rambler
