when do i need to change my brake pads on my aygo? and what brake pads should i go for other than the standard bosch as the have a crap write up.

Many Thanks

The discs need changing at 18mm width, and pads when there is 3mm. Rossini and EBC are supposed to be good. They haven't made diamond black for the Aygo yet.

Here's a write of the Apec discs and pads I installed 20,000 miles ago

 I've always given the stock brakes a good write-up, but then I guess I'm not a heavy user :D

Some friends have tried Mintex in competition and recommend them.

I use EBC greenstuff pads and discs and they are very good indeed and give good retardation from initial application and with no squealing.

Andy
