Good Grade Gearbox Oil?

Hey ppl, can n e one advince me on wot grade gear box oil i shud use? im getting my flywheel/ clutch and Diff fit on thursday and in a hunt for some oil

75w90 for reference for the ts box. However william as i said earlier get something for the diff....i read on Opie Oils some are made specifically for vehiches with lsds

hello mate my brothers got an mr2 turbo with an lsd and he runs Castrol 75/90 which works fine,i believe you can also buy an additive to put into the gearbox aswell thats made for lsd's

You will need a 75w-90, meeting the API GL4/5 spec and synthetic would be the top choice and fine with the lsd.

mmm does the LSD have its own oil supply? the corolla transaxle means gearbox and diffs are together, I used that motul stuff and it was noticeably smoother change after.

normally in a front wheel drive car they share the oil with the gearbox
