So I'm thinking of getting a system (cat Back) was wondering if there would be any power increase or would i be wasting my money?

or shall i just buy a rear box can get custom made box with a small bit of piping for £150?

power increase would be minimal, but the noise and seat-of-your-pants-o-meter would be higher! itll free up the breathing a bit which is always a good thing

An exhaust on many engines, especially small engines is more for the sporty sound.

You should go to a custom exhaust place and tell them exactly what you want, they should be able to sort it out for you no problem. :)

i know all this but for the money is it really worth me getting a full system? as you said its just noise on a small engine car so back box seems better value?

Well, I have a 1.6 and got my Ashley Cat Back for £200. Not that much for a whole system really. From the videos I've seen of Ashleys, it's worth it already! ;)
