Start Of Project E11

This is the start of my e11 project. Haven't done much yet... I've got hold of some 2nd hand wheels that I'm currently refurbing, fitted a G6 grill and springs are on the way. Eventually I'll have coilovers, k&n gen2 induction, exhaust etc. (bodykit from poland!) but all money dependant and as we all know Christmas is coming! Any how, thought I would post something as I do a bit so might as well start here!

Someone knackered the wing on my red one in a car park so here's a new one before rubbing compound and polish:

Should have the lowering springs and wheels fitted this weekend, so will post updates.

Sweet man. Those wheels look nice in black. They should go well with the blue. I have also just acquired an E11. It's a 1.3 GS. I've got a set of E12 16" T-Sport wheels for it. I've not put them on yet though. I've got the tyres but I'm just waiting for Koni springs to arrive from POTN. There's delays though so no idea when I'll get them. I'll not bother with bodykits though. I also have to get a CD player as mine still has standard cassette lol. I'll probably go with a clarion.

Sounds good, I was thinking about getting the T-sport wheels for it, they look good. Mine also has standard cassette atm LOL... Post a pic when you've got the e12 wheels on it, I might get a set aswell.

Started fitting them, only to find out they don't fit the front dampners!!!!!

Bugger... anyone got front springs for sale?

Latest update, got a K&N Gen 2 induction kit and heat shield and fitted it Monday night with the help of a flood light. Feels a bit quicker but the sound is awesome!!

Nice, is that a 1.3 or 1.6?

Also, what colour was your grille originally? I believe the 1.6GS version is silver coloured and 1.3 is black but I could be wrong on this.

Anyhow, the G6 grille looks awesome!

It's the 1.6, 4AFE lump. It was originally a silver grille but I got a G6 one from the toyota garage. I haven't fitted the wheels yet, still waiting for coilovers to arrive! Will try post a video of the sound it makes....

some axle stands next time - them scissor jacks are very percarious. ref springs - send the buggers back and order some fe fensport. ae111sr used to have numerous sets ups - probably worth pming him.
