Evening toyota soldiers, just wondering does anyone know if Toyota has any plans to release future T-sports?? it seems ages since they brought one out. last one was prob the corolla to my knowledge, but it's just annoying seeing other companies releasing there sport version of cars while toyota sit's back making sluggish "vvti" engines and no sports range!:unsure:

please share your thoughts.....

Short answer... No!

The FT-86, if released, will be their only sports model... unless they take note of the demand for interesting Toyota's again!!

it's like honda saying we will stop making civic type r becuase we have released a new version off the Honda nsx, it's just stupid. USE YOUR HEAD TOYOTA.

Agreed.

I thought that there were going to be new Celicas and what not in 2012?

Or have they done the ridiculously stupid thing and ditched the idea along with a new Supra...

It does look nice although i am some what disappointed with the engine (not a toyota engine) and only naturally aspirated......think of the possibility if it had the engine out of an impreza sti

the subaru version is going to have the turbo'd engine.. but itll be bigger, more expensive and heavier! the ft86 will hopefully stay true to the old 86.. light and nimble first, brute power second

THe last article i read which was on pistonheads a while back said that they wont be turbo'd. It would be nice if they were nice a light but i doubt that it will be with all the modern safety equipment and modern comforts

I'd say its just as well they aren't making anymore T-Sports, they cant repair the current ones, let alone newer ones !!!!!

That's why you become a mechanic. :D No repair costs other than materials. :P

I could do all the work myself no problems, but am in the unfortunate position of not having the time at the moment, but fortunate enough to be able to afford to pay Toyota, their work must be worth all of £1.25 so far .. :P

Weekends is an *****, but weekdays not so bad for me, I did that on my work experience and was only tired once I finished and sat down lol.
