Koni Springs On Corolla E11

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I have a question regarding my lowering springs. I have fitted Koni springs to my 1997 Corolla that are supposed to lower it by 35 mm. As you can no doubt tell from the picture below, it doesn't appear to be lower at all.

What I'd like to know is the opinions of fellow TOC forumers and also if the springs are likely to settle into a more aesthetically pleasing stance any time soon.

Thankyou.

Note: The tyre size is 195/40/16. I think I'll go for 195/45/16 in the future.
