Rear Wiper And A Few Other Things

Put my rear wiper on today for the first time in the week I've had my iQ3 and the rear wiper hits the rear spoiler - anyone else had the same problem??? Also, iQ owners, do your rear light lens mist a little in the rain?? Also gonna ask why my MPG trip stops at 60mpg when my car is a late November model!

Car going to dealer on Friday for a sort out!!

Love the car though and having been a MINI owner I'm used to having the odd issue (las but one MINI convertible had 4 roofs in 18 months!!!)

Your spoiler isn't in right position > let them fix again.

And there are "mist and water" rear light units, your dealer has new parts for you.

had my iq 2 weeks today my mpg records up to 99 not 60 as some complain about

now you mention it my rear lens mist up a little will also wait to see how you get on then follow up with my dealer

So visited the dealer today and this is how I got on:

Rear wiper hitting spoiler:

They are going back to Toyota for a fix as the spoiler has been fitted correctly (the first they've done so they followed instructions to the letter) so at the moment I can't use my wiper unless I want it hitting and scratching the spoiler - which they are going to make good!

MPG:

As already stated elsewhere there is a fix for this and the parts have been ordered!

Lights:

Mentioned the misting etc and was given the attached docs and asked to keep an eye on it!

Still loving the car though! :)

Standard wiper, haven't changed that so perhaps it is the spoiler wrongly fitted - watch this space I guess!
