Have been to my dealer today about the orange peel effect on my bumpers. They have said" it's a characteristic of the car" :lol: So I have been in touch with customer relations to see if they can help. Will let you know. In the mean time if you have a red Yaris could you just check your bumpers to make sure I'm not wasting my time. :thumbsup:

I've always found that red cars also start to turn orange over time due to sun exposure.

One of the main reasons why I've never gone for a red car.

what a bunch of nackers! you should have kicked the bloke in the goolies!

its just cos they dont buff the paint properly when it comes off the production line! and it takes a good half day to properly buff an entire car, and thats just a mini car like the yaris! and mass produced you have no chance! but if it is really bad then it should be sorted.

my car has it here and there and on the bonnet, boot and arches where its been modded and repainted its got a brilliant finish compared to the wings, doors, etc........
