My wife had a little accident in our carina. the damage came to £1000. so we claim on the insurance who send the car to there approved dealer.

!Removed! useless is all i can say. they have had the car for 2 weeks now, and i have just called them to ask about getting the car back, and they tell me that they are still waiting for parts.(to**ers). 2 !Removed! weeks come on how long does it take to get a few parts.

Whats more annoying is that i have had to put our baby seat in the back of my Levin. seriously not cool.

Ask them for a courtesy car!

That'll chase things up.

I bought a Carina 1800c 1996 model two weeks ago it has done 96000

but has full history and still looks good, I had to have a full service and a new timing belt to make the warrantee active this cost £350 and the garage who advertise themselves as Toyota and American car experts say they did the full service? I checked it over- the Power steering reservoir was almost empty (no visable leaks?) the brake master cylinder was low and the drive belts were loose, the steering belt was screaming and to top it all they put a crease in the underside of a sill as it was put on or taken off the ramp. And they did not discover a leaking radiator which has had to be replaced the garage where I bought the car have contributed to the cost of this, I still had to pay a hundred pounds towards it. I went to this Toyota? specialist as the quote was over a hundred pounds cheaper than a main agent. I am investigating possible legal action but according to the OOFT it will be difficult to get anything from the garage concerned. A Toyota Mechanic in Droitwich has now been recommended and any work in future thats needed I will take it to him  cheers Jim.
