Hello everyone,

My dads been pestering me about the heavy steering in his VW Taro, and he thinks that the Power steering set up from a 2nd Gen Surf may fit.

I've searched but can't find anything about it, has anyone any knowledge of the surf/hilux compatibility?

I've looked on the net about the setup, and apparently they have a steering box, which I can't imagine the Hilux would have used or been fitted with from the factory.

Any advice appreciated as always.

Many thanks

Matt

The Taro is a VW badged Mk3 Hilux Pickup and the mk3's had power steering so not sure why yours doesnt?

Have a word with Darren on HPOC who should be able to sort you out with any bits to convert yours
